    Yes, exactly... Pure smut for no reason doesn't develop character or intrigue the audience to know more about them D:

    Sadly it's getting harder and harder to find an anime that has no trace of fanservice in it somewhere...

    I'm sick of fanservice only characters. If a character has a purpose other than eye candy then I'm fine with him/her, but I hate it when they're just there to look good. -.-;

    Really, it's hard enough watching anime around others, but when an ecchi scene comes out of nowhere and you're like:

    "Mom, I swear I didn't know, the show's actually about something completely different! D:"

    I don't know why anime nowadays have a lot of ecchi scene...
    It cannot be accepted....
    some manga have a good story...
    but when it turn into anime, there's a lot ecchi scene...
    Damn it!

    Porn in any form is still PORN!
    And there is way to much of it.
    Sometimes when I am just browsing around I come across some really sick and for all intensive purposes Hard Core Crap...
    I just worry that the very young ones will come across this stuff and get totally Freaked out!
    That's my 2 cents...

    When I look at ecchi art work, is like the art/artist its speaking it self. Their are saying: girls are sex tool, girls should wear small or short Skirt, girls should be more moe looking, etc. But its more of pleasing guy and making girls eye bleed to death. It like they think all girls out like this type of stuff, the only girl may like this stuff are bi, gay, or just pervs.

    I seen art works that doesn't have moe or ecchi, but have pretty girls and boy. giving of great respect of the body.

    I not only taking about ecchi it self but as well Yuri, yaoi, shotacon, lolicon. :)

    Its is childishness, but what is dumb they spend their money on it as well.
    All can guy and girl( yes there some out there) can think of is hentai/ecchi stuff. Why can at least like about 50% then 100%. And more liking the storyline.

    Shoujo doesn't have ecchi, but do have smut but still mature at the same time
    I just find out there shoujo game with romance sex in it, yes the guys are still good looking ang girl is not moe looking. But in hentai game there thing like that.

    I agree with you all and really appreciate decent anime mangas in terms of great drawings, detailed and interesting storyline, strong characters etc. without ecchi stuff.
    I LOVE shonnens w/ amazing actions and shoujos that's decent, pure but not naive, mature but not ecchi (goodness they think those stuff is maturity, I say it's childishness)
